Ms. Harvey is an experienced trial lawyer concentrating in employment law, professional liability, and business and commercial litigation. Ms. Harvey's practice in employment law includes regular appearances before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination in connection with all kinds of discrimination claims. She also has extensive experience in providing representation in other types of employment cases, such as those involving alleged breach of contract, intentional or tortious interference with contractual or advantageous business relations, defamation and violations of a variety of state and federal statutes. Ms. Harvey's practice also includes employment cases in the medical field, which often present unique employment issues, such as the rights of health care providers pursuant to various hospital by-laws, employee or independent contractor agreements, and practice plans and other contractual or quasi-contractual employment arrangements. Additionally, Ms. Harvey advises health care providers on a variety of practice issues, such as peer review, licensing, credentialing and reporting matters.
